If your employees train your customers in the handling of your medical devices they legally are acting as Medical Product Advisers according to §31 MPG.
The regulations require that the Medical Product Adviser not only need to know the legal rights and duties but also to have the necessary information on your medical product and – if necessary – to be trained in the handling
of it.
Furthermore trainings to be performed at the customer’s site are a apropriate marketing instrument and can help you to keep the direct contact with your customer.
But also internal trainings of themes like Quality Management and Risk Management should be repeated regularly. The creation of good presentations is a very time-consuming process which may bind valuable resources of your company. Additionaly it may be beneficial if an experienced expert performs these demanding trainings.
